Sometimes we read words and they just disappear into the gray matter of our minds, but sometimes words land with a *smack* that leaves a mark. It’s the kind of quote that hits you upside the head and says “Did you hear that? Good, now what are you going to do about it?

I have a long list of quotes that I’ve seen/heard somewhere in the last year, so I decided to sift through them and share with you the ones that have really impacted me. Take them to heart and they’ll be a profound and positive influence for you.

              1. Great list! I love this Doug Larson one that you included, “Wisdom is the reward you get for a lifetime of listening when you’d have preferred to talk.” For me, there would be almost no greater compliment, that being known as a wise woman.

                • Thanks Jamie. That’s one I have to practice at! I have to make a conscious effort to listen and hold my tongue. Fortunately, there are endless opportunities to practice!
